Consultation
The first step is to schedule a consultation with our centre. During this appointment, you'll discuss your goals, concerns, and desired outcomes. Our dentist will evaluate your oral health and determine whether veneers are suitable for you.
Treatment Planning
If veneers are determined to be a good option, Our dentist will create a treatment plan tailored to your needs. This includes factors such as the number of veneers required, the desired size, shape, and color of the veneers.
Preparation
Before placing veneers, a small amount of enamel from the front surface of the teeth is typically removed, usually about 0.5 to 0.7 millimeters. This is done to accommodate the thickness of the veneers and ensure a natural-looking appearance. Local anesthesia may be used to numb the area if needed.
Impressions
Once the teeth are prepared, the dentist takes impressions of your teeth. These impressions are sent to our dental laboratory, where custom veneers are fabricated based on the specifications provided.
Temporary Veneers
While waiting for the permanent veneers to be made, temporary veneers may be placed to protect the prepared teeth and provide an aesthetic solution.
Bonding
Once the permanent veneers are ready, the temporary ones are removed, and our dentist checks the fit, color, and appearance of the final veneers. If everything is satisfactory, the veneers are bonded to the teeth using a dental adhesive. Our dentist will carefully position, adjust, and secure the veneers in place.
Finishing Touches
After the veneers are bonded, any excess material is removed, and the teeth are polished. The dentist will assess your bite and make any necessary adjustments to ensure a comfortable and functional result.
Cosmetic dental veneers can provide significant improvements in the appearance of teeth, creating a natural, even, and aesthetically pleasing smile. They are stain-resistant, long-lasting, and can be cared for with regular brushing, flossing, and dental visits.
However, it's important to note that veneers are a permanent and irreversible treatment as enamel is removed during the preparation process. Regular maintenance and proper oral hygiene are essential to maximize the lifespan of your veneers.
